Multi-axis machining
CNC-controlled milling produces complex and repeatable parts with extreme accuracy and consistency. The process uses an automated cutting tool that moves and rotates along multiple axes to remove excess material from a workpiece.
Milling is used by the LoneStar Group to produce tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes on a wide range of materials, including metals, plastics and composites. Paired with automated programming, this process is suited to both prototype development, the manufacture of special components and high-volume production.
