Defence fasteners

Defence fasteners are mission-critical components engineered to withstand the world’s harshest environments and operating conditions.

As they are typically deployed in military assets or systems, maintaining structural integrity and performance is both essential and non-negotiable.

For a safer, more secure world

The LoneStar Group supports both nuclear and conventional defence sectors by fortifying our longstanding and steadfast relationships with governments and major defence contractors across the globe.

From submarine propulsion technologies to advanced military systems, we manufacture and supply defence fasteners and mission-critical components that help our defence industry partners build, fortify and sustain a safer, more resilient future in an increasingly complex world. Most importantly of all, in a highly dynamic sector where component failure could lead to catastrophic loss of asset or life, everyone working within the LoneStar Group understands the privilege and responsibility of delivering absolute dependability to our defence partners anytime, anywhere.

Operating with a trusted right-first-time approach

We uphold the highest standards of extreme environmental performance and national security confidentiality when there’s simply no room for error.

First-level fasteners

UK Defence Standardisation

Def Stan is short for a set of specifications and requirements for materials, components and systems used by the British Ministry of Defence.

Absolute dependability

The LoneStar Group is proud to be a trusted supplier of UK Defence standard and first-level fasteners that ensure the safety and performance of military and nautical applications.

All our defence fasteners are manufactured in accordance with strict Defence Standards (DEF-STANs), specifically DEF STAN 02-862 part 3. We also provide full-batch traceability throughout the manufacturing process, from 3.2 certified materials through to final inspection, ensuring end-to-end compliance and product integrity. Our first-level fasteners also meet stringent contamination control requirements and undergo chemical, mechanical and NDE testing.
