Austenitic stainless steel
Description
310 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel known for its exceptional high-temperature resistance and good corrosion resistance. It is often used in environments where temperatures are very high.
It contains higher amounts of chromium (24–26%) and nickel (19–22%) than standard austenitic steels like 304 or 316, which gives it excellent oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures.
