NORSOK (short for Norsk Sokkels Konkurranseposisjon or ‘Norwegian Shelf’s Competitive Position’) refers to the system of industrial standards developed by the Norwegian petroleum sector. Launched in 1994, the system was introduced to improve competitiveness and efficiency while maintaining high safety and environmental performance on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
As a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of high-integrity, fully-certified fasteners, the LoneStar Group is also a qualified NORSOK M-650 Ed 4 accredited manufacturer. This means we have successfully and consistently demonstrated our ability to supply solution-annealed and strain-hardened derivatives of 32760 super duplex fasteners and bolting through a third-party audit process. This includes the registration of the audit outcome and continual statistical data provision with key end users.
