Cupro Nickel 90-10

Copper nickel alloy

Description

Cupro-Nickel 90/10 is a copper-nickel alloy consisting of approximately 90% copper (Cu) and 10% nickel (Ni). It is widely used in marine, seawater, and chemical applications due to its excellent corrosion resistance and good thermal and electrical conductivity, especially in low-pressure seawater systems.
Compared to 70/30 Cu-Ni, it has slightly lower strength but better corrosion resistance in less aggressive environments. It has good resistance to biofouling.
