Durehete 1055

High temp creep resistant low alloy steel

Description

Durehete 1055 is a high-strength, creep-resistant low-alloy steel developed in the UK (originally by Firth Vickers) for high-temperature service, particularly in turbine bolting, and pressure vessel applications.
It’s designed to maintain good creep strength, toughness, and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures (typically up to 550 °C).
