Approved by BSI
The LoneStar Group is approved by BSI to supply bolting to the requirements of annex 1, sections 3.1 and 4.3 of the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68EU.
The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) — officially Directive 2014/68/EU — is the European regulation that governs the design, manufacture, and conformity assessment of pressure equipment and assemblies operating above 0.5 bar.
It applies to:
- Pressure vessels
- Piping systems
- Boilers
- Valves and fittings
- Bolting and fasteners used in pressure-retaining joints
PED compliance ensures materials:
