Duplex 31803

Duplex 31803 stainless steel is a duplex stainless steel that combines austenitic and ferritic microstructures to provide a balance of high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. It is sometimes referred to as 2205 duplex stainless steel, the most commonly used duplex grade. It is higher strength than standard austenitic stainless steels and has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
It is widely used in chemical processing, oil & gas, marine, and desalination applications.
