Cupro Nickel 70-30

Copper nickel alloy

Description

Cupro-Nickel 70/30 is a copper-nickel alloy consisting of approximately 70% copper (Cu) and 30% nickel (Ni). It is widely used for marine, seawater, and chemical applications because of its excellent corrosion resistance, especially against seawater, brackish water and saltwater environments.
It is stronger and more corrosion-resistant than pure copper, while maintaining good thermal and electrical conductivity. It has good resistance to biofouling.
