ASTM A193 Grade B8MA

ASTM A193 is a fastener standard defining chemical, mechanical, and heat treatment requirements for bolts & studs including carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel grades.

Description of Material

ASTM A193 Grade B8MA is an austenitic stainless steel used throughout the Oil and Gas industry for general connections including valves, flanges, and fittings where corrosion protection is required. Provided as standard in a class 1A solution annealed condition for general use. B8MA differs from standard ASTM A193 B8M material in that the finished form undergoes a further final carbide solution treatment to soften the material for use in specific application.
LoneStar offer ASTM A193 Grade B8MA in commercial grades, covering the basic requirements of ASTM A193, but can also offer with supplementary testing meeting additional requirements of the standard or to meet the demands of OEM or international accredited certification bodies.
